Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Job Captain/Job Captain to join our dynamic team, focusing on multifamily and higher education projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing project design and delivery, ensuring that all aspects meet our clients' needs while adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multifamily and higher education projects from conception through completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop project plans and specifications.
- Utilize Revit to create and manage detailed project models and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with DSA regulations and standards for educational facilities.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a focus on multifamily and educational projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and other design software.
- Knowledge of DSA regulations and requirements.
- Strong understanding of affordable housing design principles.
- AIA and NCARB certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
